Activities & Services
We believe every child is unique and learns through interaction. After all, before any of us could read or write, we knew how to play, sing, dance, and draw. That’s why every child receives a personalised approach, with personal attention surrounded by wonderful outdoor space perfect for exploration, learning, and adventure.
Kinder Cooking Sessions
Cooking and baking sessions run weekly at the nurseries for children to learn and enjoy making their own food. Children will get involved in the whole cooking process and learn skills such as mixing, kneading, chopping and pouring all with close support, to encourage and develop the skills of independence.
Online Learning Journal
Kinder Day Nurseries use a system called Famly to record the development of our children and inform next steps for practitioners and parents. We have a secure tablet in each room to take video, audio and stills, and parents and carers have a login so they can see and be involved with their child’s learning log throughout. the day.
Book Lending Scheme
For children aged 12 month and over.
Photography Sessions
All Kinder Nurseries have photographer visits throughout the year to capture your child’s day playing or having adventures in the garden, as well as giving you the opportunity to come to the nursery and have a family portrait. Parents are more than welcome to bring a change of clothes for their child to wear for the photographs. Prior to the photographer visit, an email will be sent to parents informing them of the company visiting, the date and time, delivery date for ordered photographs and whether siblings are able to attend. All photographers used by Kinder Day Nurseries will hold an enhanced Disclosure and Baring Service checks which will be shown to the nursery manager on duty upon arrival.
Digital Tables
Each nursery within the Kinder Day Nurseries family have a digital table for the children to explore. The digital tables are mobile and also tilt, so will be able to be wheeled into other rooms and even outside, to support learning, storytelling and music, in many different ways. They are pre-loaded with learning software designed to support early reading, maths, science, knowledge and understanding of the world and even creativity on a screen.
Stay-and-Play Sessions
For parents and carers and family members to come and join in with the children activities at the nursery.
