Ready…steady…bake… 🥧

This morning brain boxes baked some chocolate brownies. We first washed our hands, rolled up our sleeves and set everything we needed out such as eggs water chocolate powder mixing bowl and mixing spoon.

First we poured the mixture into the mixing bowl, we then smelt the chocolate powder and I asked the children what it smelt like, they replied “very good mmm” 😂
Next we cracked 2 medium sized eggs and I asked the children if they knew where eggs came from they told me “mummy chickens”
Then we added 10 teaspoons of water and 10 teaspoons of oil to the mixture and we gave it a right good whisk until the mixture was ready to bake. We then scooped the mixture in 2 baking trays.

The children enjoyed this baking activity very much😁
